Maria Patawaran, DNP, MSN, WHNP-BC, graduated from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She then completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Texas Christian University in Dallas, TX.
During her doctoral studies, Maria focused on developing solutions for high-risk pregnant patients with diabetes and successfully completed her translational research. As a board-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP, DNP), she specializes in a wide range of areas, including obstetrics and gynecology, high-risk pregnancy, and overall women’s health. Her clinical interests encompass menopause care, family planning, and the prevention of breast and cervical cancer, highlighting the extensive scope of her expertise.
