Samantha was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2012. Following her graduation, she worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse at UTMB Galveston until 2015. At that time, she transitioned to labor and delivery travel nursing in North Texas and Houston.

In 2016, Samantha returned to Galveston and began working in the operating room at UTMB, where she specialized in Gynecology and Gynecology/Oncology cases. She continued her education and graduated from the UT Health Science Center Cizik School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in December 2020. In February 2021, she became an AANP-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.

Samantha then took on a role as a nurse practitioner with UTMB Women’s Health Care in Galveston, Texas, where she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is passionate about women’s health and is excited to be a part of Mary Claire Wellness.
